Sports Massage in Homebush Sydney

Tuesday, December 6th, 2011

signmastersinc.comHomebush in Sydney is a suburb about 15 kilometres West of the main centre and it is famous because it was the location for the Olympic Stadium for the year 2000 Olympics which were held in Sydney. Because of the sporting tradition that has built up in the area with a few other sporting stadiums and venues apart from the main stadium, then there is a good number of sports physiotherapists and massage Homebush therapists in the area.

Homebush sports massage therapyFinding a good one may just be as easy as asking someone you know if they can refer a suitable sports therapist to you, this is assuming that you are in need of such a therapist. If you are struggling to find a recommendation from a friend, colleague or family member then you might wish to consider asking your doctor or other sports health care professional such as a personal trainer if they have any inside information about who might be worth seeing (and who might be worth avoiding) in the Homebush area.

3 Times a Day for a Coldsore Treatment

Thursday, December 1st, 2011

A coldsore treatment should always be applied up to three times a day. I’ve known this for quite sometime now and have always adhered to this advice, until I found this new cream. It’s green and is made of yarrow. I’d never even heard of yarrow until I found this balm. I have heard of marrow and thought that the balm must be made of that until I saw the name of the herb written down.

Apparently yarrow has some really great properties that work a little like an antiseptic and anti-biotic. They will slowly kill off fungal infections and microbes that are less than healthy. With this yarrow balm, you can even put it on your feet to deal with athletes foot. It can be used to improve dandruff. Don’t you think that’s cool? I certainly do and I know what I’m giving my friends for their Christmas gifts this year.

Pai Skincare: Made for Sensitive Skin

All Products 100% Certifiably Organic

After reading ample skin care product reviews, I became aware of the many unrecognizable chemicals, perfumes and dyes that go into some skin-care products on today’s market.

Having issues of sensibility with my own skin, it made me literally cringe to realize that perhaps I had a part in various itchy breakouts. It was high time I started reading labels thoroughly.

Once I began reading the labels, I found myself throwing away countless bottles of lotions and creams of all kinds. Not only were these ingredients unrecognizable in some instances, they were downright unhealthy.

After reading a Pai Skincare review, I learned that the term parfum, listed on so many product labels was actually a legal way for manufacturers to conceal up to 200 synthetic chemicals, without mentioning them on their label.

Pai Skincare’s line of products was created for people with sensitive skin and allergies in mind. All of the ingredients are 100% certifiably organic. No synthetic chemicals, perfumes, dyes, or “parfum.” According to Pai Skincare reviews, Pai was the first company to put their labels in “plain English,” so all would be able to understand what they were using on their bodies.

Pai Skincare owns their R&D lab and manufacturing facility. All the ingredients are very carefully selected by a dedicated staff of scientists who spend scores of hours testing and developing their high-performance products, “without compromise of purity.”

No Animal Testing

Pai Skincare has vowed to leave a light footprint on our planet and use only the purest ingredients derived from plants. They will have no part of animals being tested, and will not be associated with companies who have no respect for animals or our environment. All packaging is made from recycling if possible.

Pai’s all natural organic products are certified by the prestigious Soil Association, and there is a wide range of products to choose from. Loads of people, who suffer from Eczema, Dermatitis, Acne, and Rosacea, to name a few, can purchase products safely, without having to worry about an unfortunate outcome. From moisturizers, hand and body lotions, to lip care, Pai Skincare has given us the choice to purchase a high quality product, made with integrity, that will not damage our skin or our planet.

My Carrollton Chiropractor Saved My Butt

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2011

OK, so I probably shouldn’t have been lifting a water heater since my back has always given me trouble, but I really needed to get it out of the way and there was nobody around to help me. Of course I didn’t have a two wheel dolley so I just had to manhandle it out of the garage. About half-way out I felt that familiar pull in my lower back and knew I was in trouble. It doesn’t really hurt right away when that happens but it doesn’t take long before it does. By the end of the day I could barely get off the couch. I was in PAIN.

It wouldn’t usually be a big deal but I had to go on a job interview the next day. There was no way I could do it without a visit to my chiropractor Carrollton. He fixed me up and I made the interview. And got the job!

I Love Sugar in the Raw

Tuesday, November 8th, 2011

I have used Sugar In The Raw for years. It’s 100% pure cane sugar that hasn’t been processed the same as traditional white sugar. Unlike granulated sugar which has a very fine texture, sugar in the raw takes awhile to melt and it consists of larger granules. The reason I have used it for so long is because I think it’s a healthy alternative to granulated refined processed sugar. Sugar In The Raw adds a nice taste to tea and coffee and oatmeal and hot cereals. This is the most luxurious sugar on the market today and it’s healthier in my opinion because it lacks over processing. The less something is processed the better is is for you. Sugar In The Raw has been around for a long time and has a great and trusted reputation. The sugar is like sweet little crystals that taste great in most anything you’d add sugar too. And forget artificial sweeteners, they are no match whatsoever.

Vision Problems from Stroke or Traumatic Brain Injury

Wednesday, October 5th, 2011

Each year, about 795,000 people suffer a stroke in the United States. Strokes can occur at any age and may lead to different types of vision problems. Visual problems may also occur due to brain injuries. Some may face loss of visual field. In this condition, a person’s ability to see to the side is affected. Patients frequently bump into objects and may trip over things. It becomes difficult for them to go to crowded stores. They become afraid of leaving home and in some cases may even experience panic attacks. These people face difficulty in reading. A person may experience dry and burning eyes more often, after a brain injury. This may occur due to decrease in the blink rate. The problem can be controlled by artificial tears or tear duct plugs. To understand these types of visual problems, a clinician who is skilled in both low vision and brain injury is needed. Only he will be able to make the appropriate low vision treatment plan for the patient who has the brain injury.

Helping Dad with the Pain

Friday, September 16th, 2011

I like helping my dad with the pain that he has been experiencing. I honestly think that it is such an important thing for me to help him out with. There is really no other way that I can do it than this. I think that some people can really help their parents out, and they should! Our parents have taken such good care of us. I want to help ease my dad’s pain, so I am taking him to a good place for pain management Madison has to offer. I guess that there are just some things that I need to do in order to help him out now, since he is getting so much older. I know that a life of pain is really nothing to joke about, and I am just hoping that he can live with a little less hurt for the rest of his life. He has done so much good for me that I honestly have no idea how to repay him.

My Own Massage is Waiting

Tuesday, July 19th, 2011

So far, I basically made a living for myself through massage therapy. It started with my mother’s tense shoulders when I was still knee high to a grasshopper and it carried on throughout my school career with my brothers and their regular sports injuries. After I finished school I finally ended up studying massage therapy in my spare time and started a small business from home, for tensed up friends. Before I knew it this small home business grew, until I was able to leave my job as a receptionist and practice massage therapy full time. As part of my business I spend a lot of time researching my craft, to keep myself up to speed on the latest trends and developments in this field. But strangely, I have never been for a massage myself. And as I kept myself up to speed with the latest developments regarding massage, I also found myself researching massage therapy in Spain – where a little dream was born. The dream is quite simple, it is all about the day that I would be able to slip away to Spain and treat myself to an endless amount of Barcelona massages.

I Am Going to Start Using the E Cigs

Monday, July 11th, 2011

I am on the internet right now looking at e cigarette reviews. I saw a friend of mine using one last week and I decided that I would give them a try. It is not as though I could lose much in the effort. If they work then maybe I could live a bit longer and be a lot healthier. The doctor started nagging on me to quit ten years ago and my family can not stand the nasty habit. Of course if I was not addicted to them I would quit so this seems like a pretty good temporary solution at the moment. I am hoping that I can save a bit of money too. For awhile I was up to 2 packs a day again and that was around 60$ a week, so it looks like the e cigs could end up saving me a lot of money if nothing else.

A Simple Lower Back Pain Relief Technique

Thursday, June 30th, 2011

Trying to find lower back pain relief is not always easy. In fact as the statistics say, back pain affects over 80% of adults at some stage and chronic back pain is common as we age. This is not normal but just common as we fail to address the underlying causes of back pain.

The technique inside this article is only for symptom relief. It works well and should work quickly for most. You can do it as often as you wish, but to get lasting lower back pain relief you still need to address the causes of your pain.

Lower back pain is created by muscle spasm mostly. This doesn’t mean this is one of the underlying causes, because in fact the reasons why your muscles go into spasm are the true causes.

Muscular tension is just the final straw that allows pain to develop. Muscles are constantly contracting and relaxing as you move about in the day. But if there are various imbalances in your spine, these same muscles will tire and tighten.

As they tighten they will form localized muscle spasm in a few fibers, known as trigger points. These trigger points can cause pain locally or even refer pain elsewhere in your spine or limbs.

The technique below is a simple technique you can use to remove a couple of common trigger points which cause lower back pain. Removing trigger points is a quick way to get lower back pain relief as they are simple to release.

All you need to do is press hard on the point, hold the pressure for 20-30 seconds and you will break the trigger points down and release the pain caused by it.

One of the most common muscles that cause lower back pain is the erector spinae muscle group. This is the muscles that run either side of your spine. Simply press into the belly of the muscle where this muscle meets your pelvis and you can commonly find trigger point there.

They will feel like small seeds inside your muscle and will cause pain when press upon. Simply move up your lower back finding these points and you may have more than one location.

Then simply press and hold the point as above and pain will ease.

The trick is to make sure trigger points don’t return, and they will if all you do is release them. To make sure they don’t return you must remove the spinal imbalances that will be present as well as make sure certain systems in your body function well.

Muscle spasm or tightness creates byproducts from the continual tension. If your body is not removing these toxins, then the toxins themselves can recreate these trigger points.

But for lasting lower back pain relief you must have a three pronged approach. First you must remove symptoms which using trigger point release you can achieve this along with Acupressure techniques.

Next you need to assess which spinal imbalances you have and then finally remove these imbalances and train your body to stay pain free. It is a simple enough process that takes only a few minutes each day for a few weeks until your spine is balanced.

Lower back pain relief is a simple process and you can start by removing some trigger point sin your low back. But remember to remove both the symptoms and the cause if you wish to have lasting lower back pain relief.
