I believe in doing simple things very well instead of doing complex things very poorly. My husband and I recently did a complete overhaul on our backyard, taking the time to install a pool, deck, and garden. I must say that my favorite part of the backyard is the pool, but I really love the little waterfall that leads down into the pool. At first we had some problems getting the waterfall to work properly, as we had purchased it from a friend who no longer wanted it in their backyard, but we quickly learned it was simply an issue with the pump. Once we took the time to purchase another set of waterfall pumps, the waterfall began working just as it should. The advantage of having it is that it really keeps the water constantly moving in the pool, which tends to keep the pool cleaner than it would be if the water was constantly stagnant. I also feel like the waterfall makes the pool even more of the serene oasis that I want it to be.
