Celebrities: Before and After |

The secret is out!
Remove all the glitz, glamour and, of course, makeup, you'll find that celebrities look totally different from the people you see on the red carpet. HOOKED takes a good look at these stars...
Ah, the world of celebrities - flawless skin, perfectly structured cheekbones and sky-high lashes. Our favourite stars (and also some of the most beautiful people in the world) show that they too, experience ‘wrecked days' they'd rather you not see.
Eva Longoria
Guys, sorry to burst your bubble, but Ms Longoria evidently shows that she too, has her bad days.
The A-list starlet of Desperate Housewife fame has enjoyed a comfortable spot at #1 in Maxim's "Hot 100" list for 2 consecutive years since 2005, ahead of hotties Jessica Alba and Angelina Jolie.
Usually looking immaculately polished on- and off-screen, Eva Longoria is definitely a testament to the wonders of makeup.
She has a less structured face and a wider nose underneath the layers of foundation, and nothing like the fake eyelashes can magically transform those peepers!
According to People.com, Eva was proud of the fact that, "Tony [Parker, her fiancé] says he loves the way I look when I wake up in the morning, which is the reason why I'm marrying him."
Well, they did say love is blind.
Cameron Diaz
Of Cuban, English and German ancestry, Cameron Diaz has been successful prominent on the big screen as 1/3 of Charlie's Angels, also having lent her voice to Princess Fiona in the 3 Shrek movies.
Self-confessed to have acne-prone skin, she could certainly do with some concealer. Also, she looks visibly tired with those dark eye rings. So, if you find yourself worrying about those eye bags after a session of late-night studying, here's a consolation - even Hollywood's favourite Angel has them too.
Paris Hilton
Socialite, model, singer, actress, author and most recently, jailbird - what has Paris Hilton not done?
Whether you love or hate her, Paris is certainly making the news. We have seen her look less than glamorous in House of Wax but what could have prepared us for real-life Paris with no makeup?
Without her fake tan and hairdo, she looks a far cry from her usual glamorous self. We will try not to imagine what lies behind that pair of huge sunglasses.
Whatever it is, it is seriously not hot.
Keira Knightley
The Pirates of the Caribbean star looks pale and extremely gaunt - almost like a walking skeleton - when she goes au naturale.
After giving a bit of colour to Keira's cheeks and defining her eyes, well, she will still be a walking skeleton, albeit a more pleasant looking one.
Of course, there are those who actually look good, even without makeup.
Here are some picks:
Jennifer Aniston
Preferring to only put on light or no makeup, Jennifer Aniston makes looking good effortless.
Admittedly blessed with good genes, Hollywood's sweetheart does not need makeup to look presentable. Even with makeup, Jennifer's features are only enhanced and not "overdone".
In her case, natural is her look.
Natalie Portman
This Harvard graduate is an embodiment of both beauty and brains.
The versatile actress, who has acted in movies like the Star Wars trilogy and Closer, can enjoy the best of both worlds as she looks great with and without makeup.
So far, she is able to pull off almost any hairstyle too - bald, short or long, and she looks just as good.
Well, some stars simply have it all.
Evidently, a little makeup (or not) goes a long way. However, as the saying goes, beauty lies in the eye of the beholder. HOOKED
