Kuishin-Bo

kuishinbo2        Probably the most popular Japanese Buffet Restaurant on our shores, Kuishin-Bo has that one special treat that makes every one coming back for more - their infamous Alaskan Snow King Crabs.

        With its generous pounds of flesh and the sweetness that comes with fresh crab meat - it's no wonder that people are willing to fork out 40 bucks just for the crabs!

        If you're not a fan of crabs, or if you're lazy to de-shell the crabs, not to worry, we assure you that everything else on the menu is equally tantalizing.

        Seafood's the name of the game here, so there's a whole array of shellfish, delicately sliced sashimi and the ever proverbial prawn tempura.

        Families, colleagues and friends can be seen getting down to eating with their fingers and sucking that one last bit of flesh from the crab legs. What can we say, it's finger lickin' good.

kuishinbo1Must try: Seafood! As if I haven't made myself clear enough.

Cost of your gluttony:

Lunch: $24.80++ (Monday to Thursday), $27.80++ (Fri to Sun, PH)

** You can enjoy everything at midday except for snow crab and a selection of shells

Dinner: $33.80+ (Monday to Thursday), $39.80+ (Fri to Sun, Eve of PH and PH)

Where to eat to your heart's desire:

When to satisfy your cravings: 12pm - 2.30pm (lunch), 6pm - 10pm (dinner)

Rang Mahal

        With one of the pricier buffets around, one wonders: what could Rang Mahal possibly offer us which would justify its prices?

        For one - it dedicates itself entirely to Indian cuisine, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Secondly, it prides itself on providing a regal Indian taste, by providing a fine dining experience.

ran2

        Fine dining and buffet are hardly two words you'd put together in the same sentence, but trust us - Rang Mahal accomplishes just that. Once again, interior design and service make all the difference in our buffet experience.

rang1 Must Try: Garlic Naan and Tandoori Cottage Cheese Cube.

Cost of your gluttony:

$42++ (Mon to Fri)

$38++ (Sun)

Where to eat to your heart's desire:

7 Raffles Boulevard, 3F Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore 039595, (Tel: 6333 1788)

When to satisfy your cravings: Sun to Fri, 12pm - 2.30pm (Buffet Lunch); Daily, 6.30pm - 10.30pm (Ala Carte Dinner) HOOKED
