        For one, he would be more mature and aware of what kind of girl he wants, and so you can be more certain that he is not going to dump you for the next hot babe he sees.

        Being more mature, he would probably be more able to provide the emotional support that you would need, and admit it, wouldn't it be nice to have a shoulder to cry on sometimes, instead of being THE shoulder to cry on?

        It doesn't hurt too that an older guy would be more financially able to lavish on you that latest Ferragamo bag that you've been waiting for.

        No doubt, the women mentioned have had no qualms going under the knife, but for a relationship to last - Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have been together for 20 years, Aston Kutcher and Demi Moore coming to 3 (considered long-term in Hollywood) - requires a little more than just quick flicks of the knife or a silly Punk'd joke. 

        While trying to steer clear of stereotypes, older women tend to be more mature. With confidence derived from their financial stability, they make for more engaging conversation because of their experience. The drop-dead gorgeous girl-next-door may provide a satisfying amount of eye candy, but the mature woman seduces with class, intellect and an appeal that you know is timeless and not just a passing fad.

The Bad

She says:

        Would you want to be always seen as the "younger sister"? Dating an older guy might have its drawbacks too.

        The age difference, and your supposed "immaturity", might result in a lack of attention to your opinions. Having to tag along to all his company dinners, needing to appear older than you really are and making an early start into the messy world of office politics might just prove too tiresome for some.

        Moreover, he might want to settle down much earlier than you are prepared to, and that could cause some serious conflict.

        It is at this stage of the relationship that break-ups are commonplace.

        New environments, changing expectations and perceptions are factors which usually give rise to the high casualty rate. Women expect more from their men. Physical good looks take a place behind the emotional and financial support that an older man can provide. It is a humiliating and defeating experience for the ex, but it is reality.
