Attention to all french film lovers out there! The eagerly awaited 24th French Film Festival will be held from the 3 to 12 October. A lineup of extraordinary feature length films, short films and animation await to excite your film-loving senses.

This year's film's festival promises an unsurpassed lineup of both commercial as well as indie french films to delight our senses. Be sure to keep the date free for Bienvenue chez les Ch’Tis which  is a 2008 French motion picture comedy starring Kad Merad, Dany Boon and Zoé Félix. Touted as the commercial film of the year, this well-done piece has broken almost every box office record in France. Other commercial films selected include Je crois que je l’aime (Could this be love, 2007), La France (France, 2007) and Qui m’aime me suive (If You Love Me Follow Me, 2006).

The week long delight also offers film buffs a chance to pay homage to featured filmaker Alain Resnais's directorial finesse by indulging in his distinctive works slated for screening. Be prepared to be in awe of the enigmatic director's film direction and cinematography with works including Hiroshima mon amour, L’Année dernière a Marienbad, Muriel, Stavisky, Mon oncle d’amérique (My American Uncle, 1980) and On connait la chanson (Same Old Song, 1997).

Dedicate 3rd to 12th October to the enjoyment of these unforgettable films.
