Coffee
Caffeine is a well-know stimulant but hey, it becomes a depressant when drunk in excess Coffee stimulates both the body and the mind in preparation for an "all-nighter".
Figs
An open fig is thought to emulate the female sex organs and traditionally thought of as sexual stimulant. A man opening a fig and eating it in front of his lady is a powerful erotic act. Remember, eat it with your fingers!
Garlic
I don't know about you, but I personally dislike the taste of garlic lingering in the mouth...let alone kissing someone who has eaten it. Nonetheless, the 'heat' in garlic is said to arouse sexual desires. Perhaps, enjoy a pasta with garlic sauce and it can lead up to something spicy in the bedroom later!
Mustard
Believed to stimulate the sexual glands and increase desire. No wonder it is a good idea to eat sausage (think phallic) with mustard!
Oysters
The sea is one of the major sources of life. It is therefore no surprise that most sea creatures have the elements to form an aphrodisiac.
All shellfish, the strongest aphrodisiacs, contain phosphorus, calcium, iodine, iron, vitamin B, basic essentials for an aphrodisiac. An additional hypothesis is that the oyster resembles the "female" genitals.
In reality oysters are just very nutritious and high in protein.
Pine Nuts

Zinc is a key mineral necessary to maintain male potency and pine nuts are rich in zinc. Pine nuts have been used to stimulate the libido as far back as Medieval times. You could try to Serve pine nut cookies with a dark espresso for a stimulating dessert. With Coffee and Pine nuts, you'll be splashing all night!
Raspberries and Strawberries
For the hand feeding job, it is no less than perfect. Both invite feelings of love and are described in erotic literature as fruit nipples
Wine
A glass of wine can greatly enhance a romantic interlude. Wine drinking is another erotic experience.
Fix your eyes on the color of the liquid, caress the glass; savor the taste on your lips. A moderate amount of wine has been said to "arouse" but much more than that amount with have the reverse affect.
Now, that was quite a handful. Nonetheless, the list goes on but the aforementioned are needless to say, more relevant to current times. The menu for seduction changes with time and our attitudes towards love. It would not be surprising if you have managed to come up with a list of your own too. After all, there is a mystique surrounding these foods and it can become subjective.
Besides, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has not approved any food to be aphrodisiac in that sense. It declares that there's no scientific evidence whatsoever that proves that aphrodisiacs can treat sexual drawbacks.
That is, bull sh*t, at least in my opinion. The mind is a very powerful thing and if you, like me, believe in aphrodisiacs, then so be it. If it was only based on myths, then how come so many people believe it to be so?
Because our brains are the greatest sex organs we have. It commands us. Feed your brain with the ‘right' food, and you will get the night off to a banging start! HOOKED
